Application
Power cables for energy supply are installed in open
air, in underground, in water, indoors, in cable ducts,
power stations, for industry - and distribution boards
as well as in subscriber networks, where mechanical
damages are not to be expected.
Construction
• Plain copper conductor, as per DIN VDE 0295 cl.1
or cl.2 solid or stranded type (HD 383)
• PVC core insulation, YI4 as per DIN VDE 0207 part
4 (DIN VDE 0276 - 603, type DIV4)
• Colour coded as per DIN VDE 0276-603. In respect
to 3+? conductors, whereby only one conductor is allowed
to contain a smaller cross-section and permitted to
place as insulated core (green-yellow as ? conductor).
• Cores twisted concentrically
• Inner covering PVC or rubber mass
• PVC outer jacket, black, YM3 as per DIN VDE 0207
part 5 (type DMV 5 to DIN VDE 0276-603)
• PVC self-extinguishing, test met-hod B according
to VDE 0472 part 804 (HD 405.1)
