Application
Power cables for energy supply , power stations, for
industry and distribution boards as well as in subscriber
networks, where increased electrical protection are
required.
Those cables are installed in open air, in underground,
where mechanical damages are not to be expected, in
water, indoors and in cable ducts.
The construction of these cables essentially relieves
the montage cable joints.
Construction
• Plain copper conductor, as per DIN VDE 0295 cl.1
or cl.2, solid or stranded type (HD 383)
• PVC core insulation, YI4 as per DIN VDE 0207 part
4 (DIN VDE 0276 - 603, type DIV4)
• Colour coded to DIN VDE 0276-603.
• Cores twisted concentrically
• Inner covering rubber mass
• Concentric conductor (Ceander) of corrugated copper
wires and one copper tape around inner covering
• PVC outer jacket, black, YM3 as per DIN VDE 0207
part 5 (type DMV 5 to DIN VDE 0276-603)
• PVC self-extinguishing, test met-hod B according
to VDE 0472 part 804 (HD 405.1)
