Application

For middle voltage power distribution in distribution networks(6/10(12);12/20(24); 20/35(42)) kV , generating plants, sub-stations and industrial plants. May be laid into the ground, in open air, cable channels and premises.

Construction

• Strand of soft annealed copper or aluminium DIN VDE 0295 cl.2, (HD383)

• Semi conducting layer around conductor

• XLPE isolation, type DIX8 as per DIN VDE 0276-620 part 1.

• Semi conducting layer around isolation

• Semi-conductive tape helicoidally wrapped

• Electric protection: copper wires and tape cross section 16 or 25 mm?

• Screened cores are laid-up

• Inner covering applied around the laid-up cores

• PVC outer sheath (red), type DMV6 as per DIN VDE 0276-620 part 1.*

• Operating temperature at:
- nominal load 90°C
- emergency load max. 130°C
- short circuit max. 250°C

• Dielectric factor of losses, 50 Hz, 20°C (0.8-3)x10-4
